I used to do hydro in a clone of one of those GHE 6 plant dripper/dwc systems. I did it under a 600W HPS bulb in a passively cooled room. I didn't even check temperatures, or pH, I just followed the GHE nutrition schedule. I didn't have any circulation or anything. Just an open window. Now 25 years later I can't believe it worked out but yeah.

I had a king size waterbed frame and liner filled with pea gravel and a queen size waterbed and liner for the reservoir under it. I had 3 Metal halide lamps, 2 - 125 cuft. co2 tanks and grew a bunch of sensimilla from the best bag seeds. It was around 1980. I would hold my breath and go in the room and crack open the co2 tanks count to 10 close them and get out I did not have any carbon scrubbers and the fragrance was filling the neighborhood. My room mates got paranoid and made me chop them down before they were done but the weed was still better than the brick shit from Mexico.

and the plants kinda slowed down @Mossy grows plants colder then that but I think her personal strains are being inbred for it.

Aye @Mañ'O'Green .... ...when you think about it...mine have had 40 plus generations of outdoor year round growing/breeding... anything not hardy died off years ago......

But...

When we tried with ArcticSun to see what was hardy furthest North...he grew just off the Arctic circle...we were surprised just how many of the available Autos were perfectly hardy for his conditions....

They are hardy little beasts.........

Morning Kittens and Frank
Woke up at 4am, did my normal routine of trying to get more of this crap out of me. Started coffee at 5, and am sitting on bed, sipping looking at my plants..

I don't wanna go out today...I'm sleep deprived...and cold cranky.....


But.. tomorrow is a bank holiday... ...all the shops are shut.....and it is touch and go if my tobacco will run out before Saturday....sigh... decisions decisions......
