Yes but they make like 10 diff versions! Can’t remember which # is the original but its def not number 1! A simple google search will tell u if u care but i am going to make my dinner plate so i got other priorities atm! ;)

In House was the original breeder and the #7 was/is the popular clone. A couple of other numbers floating around as well, but the 7 was from in-house

With winter here and kicking everyone in the nads, What's the coldest water temp you'll use? It been in the teens with highs in the upper thirties for a week where I am. My basement stays about 60* with that kinda weather. Thus my buckets with aerator stay about the same. Have two aquarium heaters, but get lazy sometimes...

68* seems the optimal for oxygenation, but what's your low?

Don't think I've seen much lower then that my basement stays around 70f +/- even during the winter and usually I have the tents on opposite schedules so one is always adding some heat plus use a little radiator heater if needed during the dead of winter. I find that just using submersible pumps for mixing warms my mixes up enough. I do have the opposite issue during the summer and have to watch for being too warm but tbh that's about the last thing I watch/check :baked:

My basement is a walk out and old school windows with storm windows on the sides. The whole back of the house is glass. Usually doesn't stay this cold for this long and runs about 63 in winter and 73 in summer.

Just wondering at what temp, it becomes detrimental.

Nice that Nala is coneless!

60 seams a bit on the colder side. Mine stays in the mid to upper 60's but I'm not sure what optimal is.

Looks like Google recommends 68-72 as optimal. Low temp causes stunting and messes with the soil microbiology and too hot reduces oxygen.

I'm in my garage. 58 in here currently and it'll get down to about 45 eventually. I use this aquarium heater in my rez and keep it at 69 :crying:

I think it's from the HPS-days right but I tend to always work for a lower temperature. I'm not too good with farenheit but 60 is pretty much 18c and 18-20c is what I aim for and max 25c before I start pulling out workarounds.
I also dry at 15c.

I live in a cold ass country and this time a year there's just so much free cold (and expensive heat!) 🤷 I keep groceries in a locker in the garage at 5c and save some electricity too.
