I never thought much of it but yeah my dad was a white hot fan me not so much and actually just had to google to see what the difference actually was :doh::baked:

"White hots are normally made of a mixture of uncured pork, veal, and beef, while red hots can be made with pork, beef, or both. Zweigle's is best known in Rochester as the first to introduce the white hots in 1925 and makes both natural casing and skinless varieties."

Which Zweigle's are really good too but I prefer hoffman's

Just hit my buddy in Baldwinville up. He confirmed we had the Hoffmans. He said the white Zweigles were mostly uncased dogs. He/we like the cased dogs. Gotta have that snap!

Hot dogs here suck! Nobody likes the cased. They like the little red ones with the color that doesn't occur in nature! :haha:
