I think its just cheap ass meter and the calibration is wrong. I know what my PPM should be roughly just based on how much nutes I use, and the Yinmik meter is right where I expect.

Did u ignore me! I told u multiple ec scales so those 2 pens may be using diff ones! Until u answer that question u don’t know if its off or not! I mean I don’t use meters but pretty sure I remember that part from looking into buying meters back when i did use em!

@Blue_dreamer make sure they are both using the same scale. I have over a 100 ppm difference between my apera and cheap vivosun apera gets 3 point calibration

Ya, there are two scales. A universal typically erupoean scale and the other and they are about 50% different.

There is actually 3 but Hanna 500 is most common

They are taking about a gallon to 1.25 gallons before they really start running off. Today they all took about a little over a gallon before they really started dripping. Ill try going slower over the next one. Hell I might try adding another gallon between the 3 right now.

Yep, hanna is the one I'm used to. Because I knew that (EC x 1000) / 2 = ppm

Or just EC x 500. Apera meter you can set the TDS factor to what ever scale you want mine is set to .5 and the meter does the math
