Hubbys Birthday today............i remembered at about 8.30am.......

Lucky we are both exactly the same about birthdays.......we both Forget them.....so there is no angst.....

I Probably reminded him it was his birthday......

His memory is getting so bad now for Appointments etc I suggested he back them up on Alexa....if you read the day time to it...it won't get it wrong....and it is back up for writing it down on the calender........{old school}...


Next appointment come in....he's reading it to me....and I said don't forget to back it up......
so he walks over to the display unit...

Looks at his appointment....looks at it.....looks at his appointment.....looks at it.....and I could see he was in a right glake.......then he turns to me and says........WTF's it's Name again........?...................

Looking for some morning sun................ ....the cloud cover brought mizzle........everything is looking a bit Sad..........but hey...they've been Conditioned for worse.......

Look at the flower buds on that................I Love old fashioned hardy plants.........grateful for any attention......

I stuck it in the pot with the bulbs in... 5 year old compo.....to over winter.......and it has made the pots it's own........

Yesterday I cooked.... ....

Mince and gravy x 2..........1 for dinner...1 to freeze as a shepherds pie....

Homemade chicken soup....x 2 for lunch....6 portions for fridge and freezer.........

Stewed steak....x1........haven't made my mind up what I'm doing with it yet.................

Then....I put the xmas decorations up.................what did you expect...after all that cooking....?

Morning Kittens. Bit of a chill but coffee is nice n hot. Picked up a nice london broil to christen the new smoker with Xmas day, even wife was impressed. Few little odds n ens to do today like getting the mushroom boxes an shiitake log setup. Ordered another batch of agar plates for cloning them. Still trying to decide if I want to spring for an Instapot or not. Would certainly make it easier sterilizing stuff.
Tent check shows all 3 thunderfvcks are above ground and seem OK so far. Time will tell. Hope everyone has a great day.
