Does anyone have a recommendation for a decent ph ec meter?
Apera makes good ones, all of them have replaceable probes for when they eventually fail, which all will. Most manufacturers reccomend replacing the probe every 12-18 months. Idk how accurate that is or if anyone on here does that. I havent replaced mine yet and Ive had it for a little over a year.
 
I don't use storage fluid, just a couple of drops of nutes in the cap after each use:

tap water comes from river...actually rivers, confluence of rivers from the mountains. THEN there's some city wells involved, so it's a crap shoot, as far as pH, is concerned. A thousand times better than our old well, though.
