My daughter likes hers. She has 3 cats and two dogs, it helps her keep up with the hair.

Wish I could justify one of those robot lawn mowers, they are super expensive.

Sounds like atrial fibrillation. Would be worth getting him to emergency when it is going on to confirm this. If it is AT, it is not likely life threatening, but may need management. I am familiar with the issue.
