Yeah so I assumed the freezer might make the trichs fall off easier

They'll gum up the screen as they defrost. You can throw some dry ice on there but ideally you want dried buds if you're planning on rubbing them over the trim bin screen. But drier then smoking buds so you don't have to be very picky about it
