All that being said….if you get a quality pizza stone, you can make excellent pizza in your home oven….

I had a stone awhile back and it worked pretty good, but now a snobby Neapolitan purist. Once you go to Naples, you can't go back!!!

We have one different brand love it been using it for years. Wife uses it for more then just pizza’s too

If you get a pizza oven….be sure and get a turning peel, as well as a regular peel. Makes it so you can turn the pizza without taking it out all of the way (it’s basically a tiny peel) ….
 
If anyone has any first hand experience with any of the new fangled outdoor pizza ovens, please let me know. Researching options and there are a lot all of the sudden
I have one of these with the gas hookup. They make them in 16" now too. Works pretty well. Gas option is required to get it hot if you're gonna use it at all in the winter
