All you need to know is I'm getting rid of that ugly ass linoleum, the wire shelf, and the accordion doors from the laundry "room" and making it look nice since it's at the top of the stairs and visible from the front door.

Oh, they don't smoke. His mom and brother do but I don't speak to his mom any more and his brother is up in Boston lol. Hubby keeps trying to get him to come down so he can visit/see the house/smoke weed but he hasn't been able to talk him into it yet lol.

One of the accordion doors fell off the track months ago and bent the track in the process (aka it can't go back up) so I'll be glad to see those go. We've never kept them closed anyways so at least now it'll look nice

Still need to get around to finishing those damn stairs as well, at least I've got a belt sander thing now so it'll be much easier than using that palm sander like I was when I first started working on it lol. Stairs and kitchen cabinets will all be the same stain so I think it should tie in nicely. Still debating if I'll stain or paint the faces but I'll figure it out lol. Probably will wait till after we paint to take the rest of the carpet up just in case of drips.

I hate them so much. And that awful rust colored linoleum lmao. That stuff is original to the house and I hate it so much.

Gonna have to remove the track too and put in an actual transition but that isn't hard at all so I'm not too worried about that.

Recommend a shelf in between there for easy to grab shit. Our cabinets over the washer/dryer just eventually ended up being used for storage and extra laundry stuff the wife uses that I don't mess with
