It didn't take much RSO, I made for my dying old friend, to knock my ass out cold. About half the size of a Q-tip head.:haha:
I was reading that a gram of rso made from pucks will have approximately 1000mg of actives. Makes it a little easier to dose with that knowledge.

@JP1 , @Olderfart : Which halos are you guys talking about? The Bloom Bros Hydro Halos? Tan plastic horseshoe?

I'm also on the Jacks 321 and haven't had an issue with clogging but I also mainly handwater. I do give them a good rinse and vinegar soak between grows. They definitely collect a bit of crust around the holes.

I did just have them on a pump/res/timer system for a couple days while I was gone and no issues there either. Was a short 4 day stint.

Even when I hand water they get a pretty quick volume through them. Might be what keeps them cleared.

Wow..... Stunning!

My diy halos keep getting plugged or partially plugged. I may well go to pressure regulated emitters instead, especially for solos. I have run into reviews by peeps complaining about halos plugging too, so it is not just my diy setup, and it is not the nutes, I am on Jack's 321 only, and it is pure liquid, well filtered before it hits the 'drobe. It is possible that the problem is siphoning of particles of media when the pump turns off. Stuff inevitably splashes onto the bottom of the halos, and when the water turns off and the excess drains back into the reservoir, any bits hanging near a hole could get sucked in. Some emitters actually have valves that prevent siphoning for this reason. I am also looking at the floraflex caps for distributing the nute mix - the jury is out, but at this point, I do not recommend halos, I think a system using good emitters may be more reliable. Just my 2 cents worth based on a couple grows. :pighug:
Are you running a surfactant like Yucca in your res? This helps to keep my emitters clean. I use pressure compensating emitters with a minumum of two per plant. I also use new ones for every grow.

I tell you brothers and sisters "I have been released from Hell for I have received Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Pea Protein Free, Sour Dough Bread"

A gluten free bakery has opened a reasonable distance for me to make the drive. I visited them the second day they opened and was able to place a special order for the sour dough bread. The pastry chef/owner trained in France. I picked the bread up today. OMG I am in heaven.

I'd have to go dig through my attic to find them but they were like tan in color

Working on a smoked brisket recharge........flavorful, juicy and tender, just not 'Wild Bill tender'.
Trimmed brisket is ok. I just like the tenderness a packer cut affords.
A smokey breack and it back to fuggun cleaning.

Help Suki!!!!!!!!!!!:funny::funny::funny:
