Evening folks, anyone here transplant cuttings, was curious what u do, don t they dip them in something before planting? I wanna try it with some raspberry bushes.
Raspberries can be propagated from hardwood cuttings when the plants are dormant in winter. However, propagating raspberries from cuttings is not a commonly used method, as other ways can be easier, less time-consuming and have a higher success rate.
To propagate raspberries from suckers:
  1. From spring until autumn, identify new sucker growth 30cm or more away from the parent plant.
  2. Dig up the sucker plant using a trowel or spade, being careful not to damage the parent plant’s roots.
  3. If the sucker or runner is still attached to the lateral stolon, but has already formed its own roots, it can be cut away from the mother plant.
  4. Transplant the raspberry sucker to a newly prepared site at the recommended spacing and apply a slow release fertlizer or pot up individually to grow in a container.
  5. Keep the soil moist until fully established.
  6. Prune according to its variety.
  7. I usually dip any suckers in a rooting powder to help em along.
Could also try just sticking a few inches of new growth in a glass of water, they might root.

Afternoon kittens.....busy, busy, busy....finally getting into making my shed a place I can actually do some work on the bike, another full load of cuttings going, yard work, house work, wife and dog tending, general maintenance.....all the stuff you never actually have enough time to get caught up on, just try to be not so far behind. Been raining off and on the past week makes it even more of a pain, but what can ya do.
Hope everyone's days and grows are going good...still no improvement on the wellies, all 3 showing signs of flowering but the only 1 I'll bother keeping to smoke is the mason jar control unit....just too worried some thing actually is leaching out of the boot rubber ( heavy metals anyone ) to trust them.

As long as she is spread out you may be fine.. FWIW it doesn’t matter how much air is circulating if the air can’t get to the buds cause they are laying on top of each other
