I hate butter recipes that Decarb the flower first, They all taste overtoasted or burnt. Do the butter extraction first ,break up the bud and add the butter and extract in a warm 140° pot for 4 hours. I have a Magic Butter machine for this step. strain the oil well through an oil filter, Coffee filters work but are so slow it drives me crazy I use these:

You can wash your butter if you think it still has too much plant material in it. Sometimes I do sometimes I don't. to wash dumpt the melted butter in a bowl stir in well a warm cup of water, put in the frig and when the butter has hardened lift it off the water. Scrape a little of the bottom off and use in tea or coffee. Melt the butter again if you washed it and decarb the filtered oil in a canning jar 1/2 filled in an oil bath @240° for 30 minutes. Just fill a pot with cooking oil just below the fill of the jar. Leave the lid barely tight so the gases can escape. The butter made this way will taste so superior to decarbed first you will never go back.

I once found out that my ball hitch was too small for the trailer. Found out while I was going down hill in some woops and the trailer came smashing into the back of my truck..... good times

Rookie towing mistake? I have 3 different receivers with 3 different ball sizes.

Well this is only my 6th press and I’ve tried 197-207 so far but I’ve only been pressing for about 2 minutes. I have no clue about this stuff still experimenting

After you have mastered the basics it will come down to the genetics of the strain whether or not it is easy to pick up. Knows Candy is impossible to pick up but may work for slathering on a rolling paper quite well?

Same I love that thing! Set it and forget it! I'm gonna have to grab some of those filters you mentioned cause I'm using cheese cloth and the bag that came with the machine.

The butter made this way will taste so superior to decarbed first you will never go back.

I usually do coconut oil but I will try this next time and report back. The burnt weed taste is something I've just learned to enjoy but I didn't know you could do it this way, so thanks for the tip!
I have ghee too but I feel coconut oil goes with more food . And my wife who works at a doctors office, doesn't like to see me slappin butter all over everything
