Fresher dried flower makes lighter rosin then cured. Longer press time will also darken it by baking it on the plates unless you get it to run offMan! I'm down to 180 for about 6 mins.

Huh, maybe a shorter run on my end.Well this is only my 6th press and I’ve tried 197-207 so far but I’ve only been pressing for about 2 minutes. I have no clue about this stuff still experimenting
I havent run the same bud twice yet but I’ve seen dark and sticky 2 of the 5 times, it was Rocbud and Sour Crack. Had to put them in the fridge for 15-20 minutes before scraping, Other 3 were super easy to handle right awayMan! I'm down to 180 for about 6 mins. And still get the sticky icky. Brought it up to 200 and still get the same darn thing. It's good but it's just a pain to deal with.
I used everything from fresh to well cured with ok runoff but get the same results.Fresher dried flower makes lighter rosin then cured. Longer press time will also darken it by baking it on the plates unless you get it to run off
I’m just going by the XP video from Nugsmasher and they do 2 minutes so I assumed that was like a standard. Ill be trying various combos of heat and timing as I go. This was my first run doing a warmup, had no idea til LilDab mentioned it. Learning on the go I amHuh, maybe a shorter run on my end.
I think it’s the length of time u are smooshing! 6min seems like a long time! Is that including warmup too or how long u have the puck smashed between plates?I used everything from fresh to well cured with ok runoff but get the same results.
