Can relate... not too severe now but having another flare up, of course on my days off work... and my specialist's only help is to tell me to go to the ER if it's really bad or wait 6 weeks until our next appointment... Then I'll go in to see him when I'm not having a flare up, they'll order tests and say "there's nothing wrong". Or I I can go spend $1000s more at the ER to have them do the same tests today... our Healthcare system is a cruel joke.

Idk i don't usually go to the ER for pain, but this shit makes me tap out. The problem is if i go i basically only get like 2-4 hours of pain relief and then they just downgrade me to Tylenol and say "aren't you better?" Like no you dbag cuz youve done nothing for me

Yeah man, that pain is no joke. Mines manageable today. I only go to the ER if I can't keep myself hydrated or if the pain is truly unbearable because, like you said, they dont/can't really do anything much about it. IV fluids and opiates, that's all they've got to offer.
