Damn good for this dude! I remember back in 2020 when he was arrested and you’d never know who it was based off current photos at that time! :yoinks:

Apparently dudes been sober 2 years so huge difference! Why I’m glad I never touched meth! :nono:

I think it’s a plot….

They sent me a coupon for a free birthday cookie but then so many yummy flavors think they knew I’d be buying a 4pk with my free 1!

Careful. Generally any of the "free money or bets" thing doesn't really let you cash anything out but makes you just bet some more while telling you it's free money. This is how they add to addiction
Yeah, that's what I figured & I still have the $200 I deposited with a supposedly 100% match if you lose. Of course you have to use it to place another bet, you sure can't cash it out. Luckily, (for lack of a better word), I know I can have a gambling problem if I let it. I grew up around it, (anytime my extended family got together there would be a poker game). In fact, the grown-ups played for $1 - 300 a pot ... while us kids played in the basement for dimes & quarters. I live a couple hours away from casinos & I've been 4 times in my whole life of 63 yrs.
There's also a horse track about 30 mins away that I use to visit until I got pissed off over something that never should have happened in a horse race. I liked to bet long races, 1 1/8 & 1 1/4 mile races and I would bet a trifecta betting the favorite and the 2 longest shots in the race. I didn't care if they were 80 - 1, I'd still bet em. So I got two long shots around 50 - 1 & the 4 - 5 favorite. No matter how they finish, I got em covered. So my 3 horses break away from the pack! 3/4 way it looks like two different races. One race with my 3 horses & the others a long ways back. As they are coming around the final turn headed for home the jockey on the favorite, (now in third place), starts pulling back on the reins. The closer he gets to the finish, the harder he pulls. Now I know about horses! I've personally owned and bred horses! The few times I've seen jockeys pull up horses like that, they jump off as quickly as possible and try & pick up the injured limb. This jockey did none of those things. It was like he had instructions not too finish in the money, if he couldn't win. Sorry for the rant & I haven't been back since! I'm calling a smoke break now, (cause I use to have a badge that said I could)! :pass: :smokeout::pass:

Gambling is tricky. It's a regular part of life around here. I got started with betting on horses when I was young. Learned the long and hard way that I'm not a gambler

I learnt a lot from my late father, he was a tight gambler when it came to casinos. I had a cousin a lot older than me who was a professional gambler. Back when it was just Vegas & Atlantic City, the casinos would offer all kinds of perks for him to come & play. My uncle & father were allowed to go with him for free! Airfare, food, lodgings ... the works. All that was required was my cousin's "guests" had to deposit $1000 on the casino's bank. Not sure how much my cousin had to deposit, but I know he was stopped at airports for having large amounts of cash. He said he had to carry his latest tax return with him to prove his occupation was professional gambler. :pass:
