Question for everyone.

What does everyone think the likelihood of this branch surviving is?

The split seems pretty nasty but the branch is still supporting itself, and the split has dried out a bunch already and is starting to harden up. Im thinking it'll be ok but Idk if I should just snip it and let the energy be directed to the other branches instead of mending the split?

Don’t cut it, let it ride and watch the healing occur. I snapped the main top and she came out just fine.

Thats kind of what I was thinking.

If you need to support it then tape together. The break looks pretty dry so the chance for the cambium to mend both by taping is a long shot.

As long as it gets supported and dpesnt tear anymore before it heals it should be fine

Jarred up the two granddaddy purples from @Auto Seeds and the cbd auto blackberry kush from Dutch Passion and what a yield just about 10oz and i still have three plants to go, might be my biggest harvest in the 2’2’ yet!! The tall GDP was 3oz, the short GDP was 4oz and the cbd BBK was another 3oz. All frosted to the max and solid nugs! Id say the was about 3grams of larf from it all!

to clarify, my suggestion for the tape in this instance was not so much for the purpose of mending/healing anything, but more as a meanz of support....a way of helping hold the two branchez together, so they don't split any further apart....no more, no less ppp
