Lets get some positive goin to put some pep in yo step!

Treatment resistan...wow....Think John Hopkins was doin studies with large doses of shrooms for for folks with ptsd and other conditions. Not sure if the program was volunteer or not. Then again, you'd have to go to Baltimore which could lead to further ptsd conditions! :rofl:

University of Wisconsin-Madison also has a research program as well

Even though I'm 50/50 when it comes to Terrence McKenna, you've listened to enough of him to understand how mushrooms can be used to reprogram for the better!
I even tried a “stellate ganglion block”…. Basically it’s a shot in the neck into a nerve bundle that’s supposed to help lower PTSD for like six months…. Got almost zero relief from it, and what I did get lasted like two months….

Mushies are a double edged sword…. They can break the habitual patterns if thinking and acting…..but the trauma still exists in your subconscious, which still affects actions and thought processes. They’re certainly not the magical cure all, at least not for serious conditions. They probably do help the “working and worried” folks (I assume you’re familiar with that term)…. But I get minimal relief (they will pull me outta the dark place though).

I believe what we’re talking about can be summed up with a paraphrased Ram Dass quote ….. he said something like…. “ the problem with psychedelics is that they will get you there, but you can’t stay. I want to be in that place of spiritual connectedness and be able to STAY..”

Or something to that effect…. :pass:

Good morning guys there’s a thread in New Growers with a perplexing problem I thought maybe someone here might know about. Can’t hurt anyways. Here’s his question…

Having a humidity issue. So this is my second grow, I have a 5x5 room.
Trying to get dialed in before I germinate. Bought a new T3 AC Infinity Humidifier. And can't regulate the humidity. So here is the head scratcher part.
So with just heat, fan and Humidifier going I can set and maintain humidity to wherever I want. I have 2 quantum board style 600 watt lights. ( plan was to run C02) once dialed in maybe next grow that's why the wattage, but that's another story. So once I turn the lights on and turn them up past 5 I lose my humidity down to 30% range and it won't build back up. Anywhere lower then a 5 on light dials and humidity comes back up and is fine. Tried several times same outcome. Even put lights on seperate circuit thinking they were drawing to much power and taking away from T3 ( didn't help).
Anyone ever ran into a issue like this?

One of the worst parts of this damn PTSD….. if I experience something even a little angering… I start shaking uncontrollably like a Parkinson’s patient…. :doh: :doh: :doh: :doh: :doh: :doh: :doh: :doh: :doh: :doh: :nono:
It's that damn 'fight or flight' response. :face::hump:

My problem is I don't fly!:face::eek2::hump:

That's exactly why I've got to be Medicated to go out in public.

You know at first, I thought I was using cannabis as a crutch to go out in public, but I think it has helped me cope with the smaller stressors.

I know I still have a ton to go!:hump: That's very plain and evident to me! As I'm trying to cope with some sort of stressor, I'm still trying to assess the situation and figure the best method to 'eliminate the problem'. But to be honest with you, I don't think that 'evaluation process' will ever stop. It's just too much ingrained.

I found that laughter can help. If my stressor is human, I usually try to think of something funny about them and give myself a chuckle. That can take things down a notch or two. If the stressor is inanimate, puff puff pass, dude!
