My irrigation lines are no problem. It's the drainage that backflows.

I had my plants elevated but can't afford the headroom in the tent.

I'll just have to put all the electrical controls on the left to make room.

I use a condensate pump for my drainage pump and pump it into a bucket. One of these. They do burn out when the coco pieces jam them up and they don't stop running and flood the tent

If you like this strain, check out twenty20 mendos version, whiskey Zulu. It had the loudest terps of any plant I’ve grown in probably the past five years. It stunk up the entire neighborhood on trim day

Could use some inputs stoners

The pump I got for drainage does not stop backflow. So at any time the irrigation is off the grow bucket has half the res water in it.

Just try finding a ¾" barbed check valve! And if I did algae might gum it up.

So my solution was to run an airline to the bottom of the grow bucket and attach an air stone. (Of course theres one in the res too)

This way the roots will be fine. I hope.

What do you think?

Maybe a vacuum breaker or anti-siphon valve? you'd need a couple of hose barb adapters.
