It's pretty obvious that 420's main roll here is to break things down to a dumby level and explain them to me. As mom would say, he's a really nice person.

A friend of mine gave me this today, So I'd have "Yet another guitar" (as my wife puts it) to fix up and play.
Now, The neck and bridge pickups aren't stock... I know that much. Hell, the humbucker is a John Petrucci model DiMarzio... (I just bought a Music man... Don't tell me I've got some old, prog rock curse where everything I encounter from now on will be related to dream theater...)
But anyway... I'm curious, Does anyone know how to trace the serial numbers on these things? It's got the neck plate from NJ, but I can't find the number in any database.

I'm fine now, but ya never know how long u'r going to live. My parents have been retired for 30 years. I watched them outlive their retirement funds.
