Bioacoustics is a way of determining the heath of soil. I was blown away by the documentary I saw today about carbon cycling. Long story short, this guy had sensitive microphones planted on the ground and could actually hear insects, worms and even roots moving about seeking water and nutrients. The louder the noise, the more life is in it and the heathier it will be. Crazy, right? Come on feel the noise
