Skip the bud candy and explosion for a while. @Lil Dab got you covered with the basics in his reply. But gotta say you should really wash and buffer your coco, never trust it

I washed it with tap then ran distilled water through...now I'm going to let drain....then water in a light dose of mc veg 2part, seakelp, and a small amount of kelp4less calmag

Soak overnight in just 350ppm calmag pH 5.6. then soak another night in light nutes with calmag total ppm 300-350 ph5.8. Then let dry out/warm up for a day and then you're good to go. Gotta check your running ppm. Most coco I've used comes 500-1200ppm, so you gotta get that lower

Why do you do the ph to 5.6 for buffer? I always stop at 5.8
