Had some new visitors today, a pair of American Goldfinch!

Went to a park near the studio while #3 was at class tonight thinking surely there would be some neat birds there. Nope. Crows, a pair of ducks, and squirrels were it. Probably didn't help that the whole place was just pine trees and invasive English ivy and bamboo, biodiversity was all but nonexistent

Do you have a certain distance you try to keep the lights from the plants?

No, I use a meter. There are phone apps that will do the same though

During the winter sometimes there is 30-40-50 of them around the thistle socks, pure chaos, LOL

Thanks pop me too I got photone par meter.. so do you just set you light as high as you can go and get DLI? That's what I do now but wasn't sure if should be raising it with the plants
