I was about 180 when I went in the Navy. Dad claimed his food bill went down $200 a month when I left! LOL!
In roughly 5 years, I put on 100lbs of muscle mass. I didn't think I looked that big at all. Various deployments and assignments didn't let me run my program all the time, at least to it's max. At times, I was eating 6 meals a day with snacks. LOL!
My max weight hovered around 290.at 11-13% body fat. The docs said my size and level of fitness is what saved me with the explosion.
I'm skinny as fuck now at 178 and 6'2"
I wish I could get the VA to buy me a recumbent bike so I could get some less painful cardio.

I sure miss the strength! I used to have. Some of my guys used to call me Bull, instead of Bill. It was usually when I was showing off or just getting stuff done.
What was your MOS @WildBill? If you don't mind me asking.

I had several NECs, Navy Enlisted codes. My rate was MachinistMate( has nothing to do with lathes or machining LOL! You could call it an enlisted mechanical engineer) for the majority of my time and a Navy Dives for a period of time. My time as a diver and one assignment is when I got hurt. After my rehab of a year and a half, I went back to my 'normal' job.
My last orders were based on my NEC of Advanced Steam Plant Maintenance. Silly XO of the Aircraft carrier gave me A-gang(All other engineering spaces and equipment other than propulsion) to be the Chief. In the end, it didn't matter. I put in 6 months of VERY hard work, especially for an E-7, to get all the equipment ready for change of port and deployment. The medical officer booted me off because of my old injuries.:grrr1:
I wanted to stay in. but this Medical officer had pull in DC. That was the ONLY time the Navy said no to me. I guess because I never took the easy assignments. I was pissed because I was so spoiled. LOL!

@Mossy - Thanks for the weight loss reps! And I also see the color splash you were asking about. I didn't realize it until today when it was updated. So yes, to you and @blue , I was able to see it on Mac with Firefox over VPN and privacy blockers.

@Son of Hobbes - Nice update on the color panel. I see the AFN logo was added today sometime? I think it looks quite nice. Refined and not over the top "far out maaaan." hahahaha

You’ve practically become a professional landscaper….I bet you have put on some muscle :superhero:
Yet for some reason my midsection is just like "nah, I'm good right here" though you can *feel* abs under my insulation. I've always had that "skinny fat" thing going on though. Doesn't help that there's only about 3" or so between the top of my hip bones and the bottom of my ribs, so it may just be a structural thing. I'm pretty much all legs

(reservez temptation to make lascivious commentz...................the struggle is real :wall:

....mostly becuz i jus wanted to uze "lascivious" in a sentence  ppp)

My first attempt at organic gardening will bw my upcoming round. So far I done hydro, coco, and soil. Next I am trying Sohum super soil. I will start seeds in 1 gallon pots in biobizz light mix for first 3 to 3.5 Weeks then i transplant into 7 gal Grow bags with sohum super soil soil. Water only. Im un search of growing the easiest dank on the planet. So far Grow Dots earned my easiest grow. But I am looking forward yo my first organic super soil Grow. It sounds easier than mixing it myself. :) Very excited to try organics. I cant wait to compare what organic weed is like vs nutrient grown weed.
