Ratios can be adjusted for smaller batches. I have used this recipe and it works. I have all the stuff to make a batch 1/10 the amount that I will be using as a top dressing later in flower for my coast of Maine and roots organic mix I am using this run.

Now, Is it a mix I can just drop seeds in, Or is it just meant as a dressing, or one of those “put at the bottom of your pot” mix?

Mix it up and add 2 tablespoons per gallon of soil mix thoroughly with regular roots organic. You can just drop the seed in. I would scoop out a handful and put regular roots in it for the seedling. It can also be used as a top dressing
