Any southern folks using Spanish Moss as a mulch layer indoors and any issues? Thanks

Aaahhhh, nope. But it might work, after a good bleach soaking to get rid of chiggers and other crawlies.

I've heard a lot of folks doing outdoors that say its not a problem but my girls are in my bedroom. Bleach wouldn't work with my organic mindset

good ol' hay workz a treat  ppp

Yeah, and I just happened to have a purveyor of fine hay open up next door. Eyes just thinkin since every time we have a storm there's clumps of the moss everywhere for "free"

Pasteurize it in an oven 70°C for 30 minutes. Should kill the bugs but not destroy the food value. I pasteurize horse shit for my mushrooms. I do that in a pillow case in hot water.

What doo fungi are you growing MOG? I've only fruited in wood, coir, and straw.
