Sweet Dreams Bushy!

You know how turkey burgers are more like a hockey puck! Well I have learned a couple of ways to fix that.

The easiest method is to mix with 1/4th ground pork season as usual and cook.

Since pork is not always on hand and not always wanted there is another method. Put a stick of butter in the freezer ahead of time. In a mixing bowl add 1tablespoon of liquid such as milk, cream, nut milk, soy or whatever you want and one egg. Mix well, add your seasonings salt, pepper, diced onion and 1 pound of ground turkey. Mix well. Spread the mixture around in the bowl to expose a large surface and poke your fingers in it to make as many craters as you can. Take the stick of butter out of the freezer and shred 2 tbsp. onto the meat mixture. Mix well. This may get very loose so you have to form patties right in the pan almost like a pancake.

The pork method works best for BBQ and the mixture in a frying pan.
