New Grower Lessons Learned- Night Queen Auto

The ladies are all doing great ‍♀️. Been busy added a 3rd light and raised them all up about 6 inches from canopy top.

Also found a good placement of plants to not smother the diesel, northern lights, and Californian snow coming along.

Two photos in there too I’ve topped and am training now with rubber bands. Separate journal for those if you want to follow. “The Church”

Couple pics for y’all of the tent and the vegging autos at about 3 weeks.

Will post some flower tops in a week to see how the night queens are stacking. Smelling better every day.

Ok y’all were at day 70.
My slow starter is now about a week behind the other two but ended up being the biggest. Probably over 3 foot tall I haven’t measured but it’s stopped stretching.

Is this the appropriate timing for fan leaves to start dying off ?

How long do they have left and when should I start flushing ?

They have at least two weeks and probably three before flush. Keep giving them the nourishment they need and they will reward you. ANQ buds want to get fat... really fat.

So beautiful I’m not rushing them I just have zero experience with this stage of the game short of research and watching y’all do it.

Would you say that the slight nutrient burn on leaf tips shows I should keep them consistent here out with feed strength or can I push them more?

Also didn’t want to have too high of expectations on size of buds/yield on first few plants. But obviously hoping for the best!

And how long do you usually flush in soil personally? Did you have some lowers yellowing at this stage of flower as well.

Lots of questions sorry and thanks for the reply

Yo closet! Always glad to help, man. I love this strain. On my last few grams after having close to 670 grams between the two plants. I thought it would last forever. Man, you are in for a treat. Such a sweet creamy taste and a nice mellow relaxing high. If you do too much, it will knockout ass out. And believe me, you will because it tastes so damn good! I have to run it again real soon.

Okay, back to your questions. When you are near done, you will see much more calyxes and they will be swollen. There will not be any white hairs at anywhere in the top colas. You may have some in the lowers.

Here is a tip of the bud shot about two weeks from harvest.

Here are what the buds will look like a week before harvest.

You will see the similarities when you get close. I wouldn't worry about the tip burn, unless it is new. The plants want more P and K when they are flowering and ANQ needs a lot to support the bud growth. If it is a new burn, then yeah, back off a bit.

I believe in giving as much light and Nutrients as the plants want during this stage to maximize the bud growth and density. Such a beautiful plant , man. Don't rush her, as I think those buds will be almost three times as big as they are now.

In a couple weeks, you need o start watching the trichomes. You don't want more than 30% amber on her. That is unless you are looking for a sleeping pill! Lol!

I am not a soil guy, but I think folks opinions run the whole gamut on how long to flush. Some don't believe it at all and others flush for 10 days! In DWC, I flush for 2 days usually.

That’s some solid info my friend. Thank you! Pictures included for reference I love it. OK time to put them back in the oven and keep cooking then.

Anytime, man! I am envious that you will have all that freshly harvested ANQ bud in a few short weeks!

Do you mind me asking also what your preferred dry/curing method is ?

I have been looking at the herbsnow dryer as a serious option but it’s a bit expensive.

You bet, man. After some trial and error and experimentation, I have decided that the paper bag method work so best for me. It's really cheap, and in my opinion starts the curing process earlier. I just cover the bottom of a bag with golf size nuggets, folks the bags closed, and rotate the buds once a day. None of that hay smell, plus it's little quicker than hanging. And I don't have to tie up my cabinet for drying process. It just works well for my setup.

I week later into flowering. Lady I’m the back of tent it still behind the two features in images but I believe will be my best plant for sure. Has loads of bud sights filling up as we speak.

Seeing a few more leaves change colors being consumed for flower production. Nutrients and water are steady at 4 ml micro grow bloom about .75 gallon every 3rd day.

I think I’ll leave them for at least another week and progress report. Have a micro now to view trichomes later tonight.
