Dropped into water on the 26th above ground for about two weeks. They were introduced to some nutrients yesterday…
1ml of each mixed to 6.0 ph…400ppm
Calmag
Root
Veg
I have gradually been increasing the wattage on the light. I believe I’m at 280 right now of the 320 watts available…they seem to like it…no crazy stretch but some tight clusters of 3 nodes
I will probably transplant tomorrow or the next day

Day 29 did some Lst to her earlier this week and a light defoliation she handle it rather well. Thinking I'm going to pull her down once more and then flip a couple days after at some point this week. Looking like she might have some color to her already. Seeing some purpling on the leaves not sure how common that is for this strain? She spreading out nice and looking like she ready to explode for flower :headbang::growing:

Not seen this myself before on this strain, but looks cool
@Antonio_DutchPassion I will be dropping the seeds tomorrow. I am moving as fast as this old man can to get going. I have a couple of light tricks I will employ in an attempt to catch the crowd. I will start the new thread now.

Thanks again for this opportunity.
Cheers man  Welcome and :goodluck: and have fun growing!

@Antonio_DutchPassion Hang on to the handlebars here I grow again.

Welcome to my next grow featuring Dutch Passion's Lemon Z & Tropical Tangie. Pull up a chair for this one as these are Photoperiod plants.

I am getting a bit of a late start as I had to wait on the previous grow to finish up. I will be running extra blue light to help keep the plants shorter :kitty:. I plan on super-cropping when needed. I will be adding far red the last 15 minutes after lights out and will go to 12/12 after the first 7 - 10 days after germination. I am still trying to decide if I want to top them? I don't want to do anything that would extend their time to ripen. So we may be looking at the plants as they grow on their own genetics alone

The grow space is all cleaned up, I just need to change out a couple of drippers and wash the plant stands. I plan to drop the seeds tomorrow.

I will be using my Green Leaf Mega Crop 2 Part nutrient schedule adjusted for Photoperiod plants grown hydroponically in 6" rock wool cubes.

I think I am going to veg for 2 more weeks. yeah I am going to try and fill out the 4x4 with these 2 Lemon Z. I am not sure how big they get but with them being Sativa I am guessing they are going to be somewhat large.
These are more a hybrid style plant and because of the added Lemon Tree genetics I think even a tad more Indica dominant.
From what i can tell in the description they are a bit more indica than the original Lemon Z before they added lemon tree genetics. But i still expect it to stretch quite a bit!
Yes indeed, but don't expect the biggest stretch! Mostly depends on your environment and the size of the plant before switching to 12/12 too though.

Going to be an interesting run! :goodluck:

Nice to see healthy plants everywhere! Keep it up and keep them green! :d5:

Just a quick message to all that are part of this competition, hope you guys have started already and please don't forget to update weekly in this thread as well as keeping your own separate journal about the grow! :hump:It is very important to take care of both in order to participate in the contest :joy:

Day39 New
These girls are going into flower and the stretch has begun. The canopy should be full in about a week amd then i will let them grow upwards! They were fed with 50% FoxFarm soil trio transition schedule with a little pk boost from BudExplosion at 1/8tsp per gallon and Sea-K at 1/8tsp per gallon. Just trying to stay on top of training and constant defol (few leaves per day) to keep light penetration even and air flow good.

Day 28
I had a little bit of a cal/mag deficiency. I was giving Cal/Mag every other watering. But that wasn't enough. New growth is looking good so I don't think it's going to be a big deal. I may have to veg them a week longer so they can catch up.IMG_20241217_193706298.jpgIMG_20241217_193713127 (1).jpg IMG_20241217_193656178 (1).jpg

@DoobieGrows the ladies look a bit overwatered too maybe? Hence the drooling leaves. This can also cause nutrient deficiencies btw. Because the soil/medium becomes waterlogged the roots can have trouble with the uptake of nutrients.

You guys should really get on the organic Biotabs train.. it's so easy and you'll never any issues anymore! :headbang:

Last time I checked they are not very easily available in the USA :dammit:

Ive been using 3part nutrients for almost 15yrs. And ill tell you the idea of Biotabs sounds awesomely simple. Coming from Hydroponics originally its hard for me to wrap my head around, but i have seen some amazing results with the Biotabz. I might have to give those a try soon!!!

I don't think I added enough perlite to my coco. So it's taking a bit to dry out. I am only watering once a day. I think they are going to bounce back and be just fine In a week or so.

Its a hundred bucks for the starter kit. I have so many nutrients its hard for me to justify (right now) but the ease of use and just watering with tap, the price of convenience! Since ive been running autos especially fast fast cultivars(-75days) i dont run into problems like lockout and deficiencies as often because the life cycle is over so quick! I find good preparation pays dividends, but because they require less nutrients as a whole since ive gotten my environment dialed in i just start feeding at3wks at25% and work it up to 50% and feed feed feed til harvest. Im really loving the auto game!
