Its a hundred bucks for the starter kit. I have so many nutrients its hard for me to justify (right now) but the ease of use and just watering with tap, the price of convenience! Since ive been running autos especially fast fast cultivars(-75days) i dont run into problems like lockout and deficiencies as often because the life cycle is over so quick! I find good preparation pays dividends, but because they require less nutrients as a whole since ive gotten my environment dialed in i just start feeding at3wks at25% and work it up to 50% and feed feed feed til harvest. Im really loving the auto game!

It’s 100 plus 15 for shipping on Amazon but it’s only 60 on their website but no shipping to USA. So that sounds like a rip off way over priced and you can’t get the additives least on Amazon

Aren't Biotabs similar to growdots?

I think yes just in regards to their both slow timed released fertilizers no clue if ratio and NPK is the same. There’s lots of different slow release fertilizers out there but bio tabs seems the most liked

Grow dots are synthetic.
Let me clarify that a little bit. I think they're vegan derived. They still work well with bacteria. Kind of like good old Mega Crop!

Biotabs Or Grow Dots would crush it with some sort of automated watering.

Bio tabs and a Tray2grow set up Could easily fill up a 4x4 tent with this girl!
I suggest that if you want to know more about that set up follow Jeremy of BAS on Instagram or YouTube! He's got a side by side going at the moment and those are absolute monsters! Crazy as hell!
I haven't been able to figure out how to link anything from Instagram or I would post it here. Go take a look it will surprise the hell out of you!

Biotabs in combination with Autopot system works wonders as well. It's a shame they are not easily available in the US. I know they have been looking into that but because of agricultural laws it wasn't easy to export and sell in the USA. Hopefully in the near future there will be an option to sell and distribute it there.

I was thinking about using the Autopot system, but they don't make something that works for the size pots that I wanted to use. I think their XL system will fit a 10 gallon Grassroots living earth bag. Now that would be fine for most people and would work really well with Biotabs.
Autopots and the Tray2Grow Seem to work very similar to an Earthbox. In both of those systems, the plant sets up its roots pretty similar to the Earth box where it uses the wicking area of the reservoir as a source of clean nutrient free water. With that Set up, she's free to choose what nutrients she needs and wants and is not forced to take up nutrients with the water she needs through transpiration and growth.

A Tray2Grow system holds 30 gallons, twice that of a regular Earthbox. If I can grow a 10 foot tall girl outdoors in an Earthbox, just imagine twice that much media.

You guys really need to check out Jeremy's grows with the Tray2Grow. The size of the plant is amazing, but what is most striking to me is the size of the trunk. Didn't call it a main stem! It's a damn trunk! :eyebrows: :eyebrows: :eyebrows:

It really is pretty damn dramatic!
