Short update....i executed all the males...operation pollen is canceled. It's more i feel like i don't know what i'm doing. I brought the males out and it looked like 2 of sacks opened so i got slightly paranoid and tried to get some pollen out. no idea what im looking for so i did what i pland on doing and grabbed a zip lock bag and tossed it over it (im sure im doing this all wrong and sound completely noob lol) and shook it a little bit and didn't see anything collecting. then with one of the males i tried what i saw on a video and taped the sakes over a mirror and didn't see anything then i thought to myself well maybe some came off and its on my hands. OH SHIT. so i washed the shit out of my hands and won't go into the room until i take a shower. With this headach its not even worth it so i just killed them....next time i'll make a male room for some of the boys to grow and do what thye got to do in a seperate room. I don't want to risk pregnating what females i do have left then i'd be fucked out of medicine an that would be really bad. so long story short. i killed em. and there are basking in the dumpster

A few stray pollen particles isn't going to ruin your crop. If you find a few seeds, you can grow them out later. Unless your bud is well seeded, potency and yield will be fine.

Harvesting pollen the first time is stressful, mainly due to fear of the unknown. When the sacks open, they drop a pretty nice little amount of pollen. So, you don't try to get pollen out of the sack. If you can lean the plant over a mirror (actually, I use a cleaned 8'x10' picture frame), pollen will drop onto it when the sacks are ready to drop it. I collect it with a q-tip unless there's a lot.

If you can't lean the plant over a mirror or picture frame, pollen will drop on to the leaves below the sacks and you can collect it from there with a q-tip (though this is a less desirable method).

But, you're legal, and can probably purchase beans legally, so making your own seeds may not be worth the trouble for you.

right on. thanks for the tips....I was thinking about making a rubbermaid grow box just for my breeding purposes. figure 150watts of cfls will keep them happy enough to keep the male alive to pregnate the ladie then I can off or save the male and keep the pregnant ladie or however i feel like working it at the time. but that will have to be for next time. i was over intimidated form the unknown for sure.

Is buying pollen illilgal? wonder if there was a way to get ahold of some already harvested pollen.i would even trade half of my beans that are made for a trade like that

Day 25 from sprout.

Hello again. back for another update. still got some sick plants and 1 of the MI5 became a victim as well. All males are gone until next time when i can make a room or box for them. for now i have 1 REALLY healthy mi5 and 1 and 1 pretty healthy sour60 and 2 semi healthy sour 60. i have 1 sick mi5 and 3 really sick sour60's. one of the sour 60's haven't even showen her sex yet and 1 of the sour60's i think hermied. i'm not sure but only on one side of the node is 2 balls it looks like but there are hairs comeing from it. check the pics.... in the blimp view of all the ladies. All the healthy ones are on the right and the sick ones are on the left.

im dealing with the same plant try some organic amendments mine seemed to flourish until it got heat stress it still hasnt bounced back there a very delicate strain very light feedings and even bigger flushes after each feeding let the soil dry out ive found that mine like that a little mine is two weeks ahead of ur and i kinda lst after it started flowering which wasnt smart but had to for some other babys

they look nice.. yeah it piss's me of i over feed them. they were doing so well then i f'ed them up. oh well live and learn right....well as soon as i get another Benjamin laying around i'm going to buy some more seeds.

idk cant be positive and i dont wanna give you the wrong advice but what i can tell you what people have done and do is. Is there only one that looks like that or are all of the calyxs look like that? If its like one or two randoms. PLUCK them off you wouldnt hurt too much if you lost a few calyxs. After you pluck them check the plant daily if no more grow back your good. From what Ripster said hey has done this a couple of times and they dont grow back and its fine the rest of the grow. BUT if ALL of the calyxs look like that and those sac looking things start to open kinda resemble bannas then its a herm. But if you wanna wait for someone with more growing experience they will chime in eventually. If it looks like all calyxs are turning into those sac things you can try to buy dutchmasters Reverse it reverses the male flowers and stops the HERM. One of the memebers on here use it and recommends it if you can get your hands on it. Usually your local hydro store will carry it but if not ebay. If you cant get that people always say to kill it. ADDITIONALLY i have researched this strain and have scoured forums and i have never seen or heard of the sour60s herming, reason being is that like i told you before the Sour60 was never released in feminized form therefore giving way to herms but this has never happened to my knowledge. Just pluck it and keep chuggin looking good.

Thanks....yeah i don't think its a herm either....there are 2 hairs comeing from it. and literally just in the last 5 hours (just went in to confirm before i started writing) almost ALL the hairs have nice swelled calyxes for whatever reason the one in question looks like a single sack with 2 hairs comeing out of it. weird....
