I'll have to try that. thanks. I checked on the paper towl of the BB and 2 show tiny taproots. so those will go into the ground today....was thinking of doing one of the 2 gal pots with 2 ladies in the same pot. "WIZ" style lol.

Wiz's beans have these really tough thick skinned shells. I found using a very fine sandpaper and scraping mine has had a higher success rate. I also crack them slighty where the tap root would come out when all else fails. I've actually saved quite a few beans that way

I was having trouble with germ rates till I started soaking my seeds till they would fall to the bottom of the cup . Then straight to soil in cups placed on a seedling mat and use a baggie to make a mini humidome. Have had MUCH better results that way than paper towel etc .

I tried germing 5 double dragons but only 1 germinated in 5 days and she isn't looking good. I got her in humid dom to try to keep her happy but I don't think she'll make it. I'll give her a week to sort herself out then i'll try to germinate the last 5 double dragons and pray to the Shiva gods for at least 1 dd to grow i don't care if its male or not. I want at least 1 male from each strain to keep for the collection and for breeding/seeding purposes.

I had issues for a long time with germination. Some places too hot.. some not hot enough. I at some point I gave up and just started taking 2 thick paper plates, a paper towel (folded twice) wetting down one side really well w/ a sprayer, putting the beans in the middle and lightly draping the towel and blast it again with the sprayer till it's nice an damp (but not dripping wet) through the other plate on top, through it in a 1g freezer bag and throw a pot over (12") it in my grow tent. Works like a charm especially for stubborn seeds. I've never had to crack anything but I've temped for sure on some lol. You can get 3-4 layers going in one bucket

When growing photostrains I did the cup of water method until i see tap root. for autos I've done directly in soil. that din't work tried the towl method. So now i'll try 50/50 cup then soil.

I had issues with the seedlings drying out. I fixed that by putting a 6oz clear cup over where I planted the seed digging it ~1/4" into the soil. It helped keep in the moisture very well like having a humi hood w/o the transplanting.

How's it going with the other seeds?
