Indoor Leaf curl what causes this?

Magnesium (Mg) deficiency is common in all mediums and hydro. It is not common outdoors. Mg is mobile.

Mg deficiency starts in the lower leaves. The veins remain green while the rest of the leaf turns yellow, exhibiting chlorosis. The leaves eventually curl up, and then die. The edges of affected leaves feel dry and crispy. As the deficiency continues it moves from lower leaves to the middle to upper half. Eventually the growing shoots change from a pale green to white color. The deficiency is quite apparent in the upper leaves. At the same time, the stems and petioles turn purple.

Mg deficiency is one of the easiest nutrient deficiencies to diagnose and cure. It occurs more frequently if using distilled, reverse osmosis water and tap water that has low ppm count.

I wouldn't do anything yet. Just wait and see if any other symptom apears. It could be: Just nothing!

:)

Are there problems with too much Mg I could get a supplement and start with a low dose.

That doesn't look like a Mg problem to me. There is no discoloring. It's 60 F in the room or your reservoir? Room temp that low is too low. Seems pretty low for hydro reservoirs too.

How old are they?
What kind of lights do you have?

Yeah squid your right thats a little cold but mine do that sometimes and I think mine has to do with a little high heat but heats def not an issue here.

I could be wrong, but I just don't see any evidence of any nutrient deficiencies or problems. Almost all of that causes some sort of color change. I see no color change just a little bit of upward curl on the edges of the leaves. Hell, it could be nothing at all.

I think that when you look for leaf curling, the information found is most likely regarding the fingers curling and not margin curlin. I wouldn't say it's Mg also.

From the pic, she has great colour :) maybe it's just nothing... I wouldn't worry if nothing else appears.

I concur.

Mine did that when the lights were too close, but I also had canoeing on the upper most leaf.

I always try to keep my temps around 25oC (75oF) but I don't think that's the problem.. Sorry bud. It could well be mg but I really don't know
