If you wanted to experiment... instead of getting a jug of cal/mag mix up some sea salt in water and add it to the rez, around 300ppm (.6 EC). You'll get not only the calcium and magnesium that are present in the salt but also another 70+ micronutrients that aren't available in any hydro nutrient off the shelf.

So I went to check on my pakiryder when the lights came back on everythings fine but there is a slight white foam in the bucket is this normal should I be worried?

That foam is just o2. Your water has as much o2 as it can hold. Its not a good thing it a great thing.

H2o2.. thats the stuff dude i wack that in at the first sign of anything slimy... works a treat. also been cleaning the part of the air line thats in the bucket and the air stone with H2o2 solution as that gets slime on it..

with cody.. keep it simple down there..

Only ever had foam stuff when the roots got really big.
