WOOT WOOT I got me some root's I upped the nute's to 2ml per liter and added b-52 it came out to be around 600ppm if I recall the pH stay's pretty stable I've been adjusting it maybe every 2 days res temp's stay at 68-70f. I would say everything is going swimmingly

Things are going to take off hard now mate, she will be spilling out over the edge of the pot in seven days.
Going back to the roots thing, I have just ripped a mikromachine out of my DWC as she had rot, shes 30 cm tall and has shown sex, I really did rip it out,had too and stuck here in a 10liter rock wool cube! Ok shes not the picture of health but she hardly even noticed! Now I can see white roots popping out of her.

Hey buddy what root stim you using again? I dont like the canna one it messes with ph to much.
Looking forward to seeing mind blowing levels of growth on this thread in the next few weeks dude

This morning There was about 4 or 5 more roots popping out the sides and bottom I love it. ADZ what do your bucket temps run? I havn't started using a root stim yet I was just about to order some rhizotonic, Voodoo juice is a bit expensive for my tastes not sure what I'm going with yet

Its too hot im my grow room now its warmer outside, its in the loft and gets hot even though there's 90mm insulation.

I have 2 600 hps running in there, ones in a cool tube i have a 6 inch rvk going full wack but its still 29 deg c in there! im hoping in 3 weeks i will have the cash for 2 240 blackstars to replace one of the hps lights

Thing is none of the other buckets have any rot this was yesterday on the FB2, the slight tint is from the root stim.

theres 120l a min going into 8 buckets so its not oxygen! i think the rot came from the mazaar that had a little bit at the start but now the roots are shiny teeth white! maybe when i put the meter in one bucket then into the next it spread it. now i dip all meters in h2o2 solution between testing.

I think you should be running root stim from the get go as SB does on all his grows. i was using rhizotonic but it will rise the PH by as much as 1 point meaning you need more ph down in my case as im using shitty city tap water @PH 8 i need so much of it i don't want to have to add any more than i need to as it affects the final EC.
I have switched to ph down phosphoric acid now, i was using canna nitric acid PH down but that stuff is lethal it burned the crap out of my foot when i spilt some on it! and also i seem to use way more of that than the phosphoric. i need like 8ml nitric in 10l and 3.5 ml of the phos in the same.

This is the stim im using at the moment and it does not affect the PH in any way and i find that in general my PH is more stable with this than the rizso. and i have to say its very good

Thankfully heat isn't a problem with me I can put it as low as I want I'm keeping it between 74-78f I usually keep it between 80-85f because I use Co2 but I want to keep my bucket temps down I dropped it. My bucket temp's are staying nice since I wrapped it with the thremal blocker, It dropped it 5 degrees It was staying at around 74-75f now it's68-69f. I can live with that.

I've added advanced nutrient's b-52 not quite a root stim but it is close. It's got the same b vitamins as the rhizo. Since I added it that's when I've been seeing the root growth It's all new to me lol. I'm starting to catch on.

Me to mate this is my first DWC grow with the Monster La diva and the FB is my second! one thing is for sure you get bigger faster growing roots with a stim and that equals fast bigger plants!

seymore uses them start to finish an we all know what he turns out :hot:

Nice. I use a root stim from the beginning 'cause of SB. But I also use a microbial tea in the res as it really helps with root production and keeping the slime away as my temps can reach 75 degrees when lights are on. I'm on a 12 on - 5.5 off - 1 on - 5.5 off schedule in my veg room where my autos are. Freakin' stuff is taking off since I switched to that schedule. Loads of fun having lots of new DWC grows! I've only donea couple DWC plants, so Im a newbie with it.

Everything seem's to be going good I have a question for you guy's I got a little bit of brown residue on a peice of roots what is it I believe it is residue from the nute's I just want to make sure my res temps havn't gotten over 70f here's some pics

I've got that on mine, too, and I figure it's just from my tea that I use. If it gets to be too much, then I just spray it off in the sink. But roots also excrete things which is what that could be, too.
