Lighting KVS, Magic Dragon, & Easy Ryder in air-pots w/ M3 soilmix under LED

3/4 up and going now. both magic dragons are up (2nd one just started to break surface) only waiting on KVS to show its head now. easy ryder is in its 2gal air-pot and magic d's are in 32oz cups drilled with air holes. all have M3 soil but with a core of seedling starter mix soil so the tap root can get going without the soil being too hot. hope KVS shows soon really want that one to be a good one! she's get a full 2 gal air-pot soon as she breaks surface too

Not sure how much longer i'll wait for KVS... she's been in peat puck since 8/30/12 and others are all up and going i think i'll give her another 24hrs to show herself before i germ another seed. i hate to give up on a late starter seed since in my personal experience the troubled starters have been best finishers took a toothpick and moved soil from top of kvs seed last night looked like tap root was out of seed just hadn't pushed seed up at all so i put only the lightest of moist peat flecks on top to she could try to push up. it was a small seed so i don't know...

dug out my kvs seed and she's a dud hasn't even cracked yet. she had a 24 hr soak in distilled water and was in peat puck on heating mat for 8 days. haven't totally given up on her yet thou. put it into paper towel method while i soak a new kvs seed and then move that one to paper towel too. only had 3 of the kvs seeds so i hate to give up on the first but it was a small weak looking seed so i might have to face the fact that i'm no longer at a 100% germ rate anymore

yay! the title of this grow journal is now longer a lie. My 2nd KVS seed germinated. i just checked it about an hour ago and its just sprouting its tap root, i'll leave it in the paper towel on a plate under my DVR nice and warm till later this afternoon when she'll be planted in her own 2 gal air-pot with a core of seedling starter soil surrounded by m3 mix.

i'll put up pics of all the lil ones this afternoon too

guess this means i finally have to chuck my lil dud seed which has now gone thru two different germination attempts and shown no sign of life

Can you hurry up Prez. Maybe some steriod treatment :twist:. Oh that won't work they will probably grow 12" bananas.
