Me too man! Me too! I'm ahead of the game and got some girls ready to transplant right away! I will b using roots organics 707 as my medium on top of the kind
That should work great only difference between that and the roots original is yours has more perlite.. You should have a rocking grow.. You will know when they start eating that kind soil.. Just remember to let it dry out a bit before feedings this is why I like the soft pots with it as I can touch the bottom of the pot and determine if it is dry or still moist...

Hello to the commune! Fishing is good even if you have to leave things unattended.

I would like to follow up with news of ne additions to the family. Two little girls in their @Kindsoil . The auto euphoria is off to the races. However, critical Neville haze has been left since Saturday with a helmet on! It was dried, easily removed, and even started the first set of real leaves. All under the shell! What should i expect? Leaves are green, stem looks healthy. Botj given about 8oz of distilled water.

Our city water supply is 7.5 ph. Pumps from artesian wells 3000 ft deep. Ive never really watered to a runoff.
so 7.5 can be a borderline PH of too high. 7.2 or lower is generally the safe ranges for never having to PH adjust. All soils always buffer acidic water easier than they do alkaline. Generally its always best to err on the neutral to slightly acidic end. However like mentioned earlier any ph adjusting that occurs should always be done with citric acid crystals. Never use Phosphoric acids i see it every day with growers and our soil, they use phosphoric acids most even use them with plain 0ppm RO water and thats a major No because you generally will never properly read your 0ppm water without owning a 0ppm water ph meter. so the two big things do not use RO water and do not use phosphoric acids. In your case I would really recommend knocking the ph down slightly with natural down to atleast 7.0 or lower. But you can run the system with the water at its normal PH .. if you notice any uptake issues you can always drop the water PH. like i said your kinda in that weird spot where it may be safe.. generally if someone comes to me and tells me they have a 7.7+ ph i say definitely adjust the water PH because all soils have a harder time buffering that alkaline of water.

How does the soil work with a wick system? I'm moving to water only and I bottom feed my ladies by maintaining a perlite reservoir below. I've got a few soil mixes I'm trying, along with a super soil cooking, would love to try kind alongside them.
we were asked this i believe a bit earlier in this post, id suggest looking at the system that grower had mentioned to see if its the same.. wicking from the bottom with our system isn't something i personally recommend. As i stated with then a drip top feed is fine but keeping the hot soil soaked isn't going to be beneficial. you want your media to properly dry especially with organic growing, the media needs to properly breath and wicking keeps the media too moist generally
