I keep threatening to grow big, but I just can’t bring myself to do it. So I’m just going to grow in my one liter bottles again. I’ve dropped four beans and and I have four one liter bottles in a 2x4 tent. I’m using 3 60 watt autocobs at 24 inches above the plants and most likely on a 20/4 schedule. I’m going with MegaCrop and maybe some Bud Explosion in regular ol’ tap water. I’m using a 3:1 perlite:vermiculite mix in hempy bucket style containers. The seeds are planted into Jiffy Pellets which are coco coir. For the genetics, I’m going with:

Mephisto Genetics Strawberry Nuggets (SN)
Mephisto Genetics Gold Glue (GG)
FastBuds G14 (G14)
Dutch Passion Blackberry Kush (BBK)

I’ll post pictures when there’s something to show which I’m guessing should be sometime next week. I’ll try to post my updates on Wednesdays and Saturdays unless something comes up. Please feel free to ask any questions or give any feedback you have. I’m open to anything.

Right on I’ll pull up a chair. Heard great things about some of Mephisto’s autos :pass:

If you're in Europe watch out for the monday drop. I've heard that they open the webshop and are sold out in 20 minutes! :yoinks:

I'm along for the ride I find a litre bottle can grow a great plant

Small grows have been my habit for years. Full Duplex 'hefty autos in small places' is a good roadmap.
Having grown bonzai trees for 50 years, it kinda comes natural...

I haven’t been in here in a couple of days and I really wasn’t expecting visitors So soon. So...welcome everyone.

@Mañ'O'Green you’re right, they’re peat. I apologize for the misinformation.

I still don’t have anything above ground yet...so there’s nothing exciting yet. I hope I don’t disappoint you fellas. Regardless, it’ll be fun.

Day 2...sort of. So, yesterday, the Strawberry Nugget, the G14 and the Blackberry Kush all broke ground. I can see either a bent over stem or a cracked seed in the Gold Glue bottle. I covered the Gold Glue with a little coco coir and we’ll see if she makes it. I’ll get some photos up on Wednesday.

I also got my 2x2.5 tent up and running as well. After waffling to and fro for several hours, I decided to drop a Dutch Passion Colorado Cookies. I’ve got it in a three liter hempy bucket style recycled water bottle filled 3/4 of the way full with hydroton and topped with pre-charged coco coir. I could have dropped it straight into the coco, but old habits die hard and I put it in a Jiffy pellet (and yes...I expanded it with 6.5 pH water). It will have its own 60w AutoCOB...although I did contemplate using my HLG 135w quantum board in there.

Right now, I’m running the lights 24/0 and I’m seriously considering keeping it that way. I’ll need to decide one way or another what I’m going to do by this weekend.

Since I’m using inert media, I’m going to have to start feeding soon. 1/2 teaspoon of MegaCrop per gallon of water come out to be approximately 3 grams/gallon. I will stick with this until flower hits. Then I’ll add 1/4 teaspoon of Bud Explosion.

See you on Wednesday with photos.

Happy growing everyone.

I guess I’ll stick with the same calendar for my four one liter bottles and call this Day 4 for them. My Colorado Cookies is not yet above ground, so I’ll keep her separate.

So far, the Gold Glue is the only plant that’s really lagging behind. She’s the smallest of the four one liter gals. The G14 is really taking off and the Strawberry Nuggets isn’t far behind. I started feeding them each about 75mL of a 3 g/gal. (1/2 tsp/gal) solution of tap water and MegaCrop - again, I’m trying to keep this as simple as possible without all the obsessing about details. Also...I had to temporarily move the Colorado Cookies into my 2x4 tent as I’m having some electrical work done today. Here are the promised photos:

Day 7 for the Strawberry Nuggets, Gold Glue, G14 and Blackberry Kush and Day 2 For the Colorado Cookies.

Everything is going along OK. The Gold Glue is behind prettymuch everything else so far. I accidentally splashed some water/nutrients on the leaves of the BlackBerry Kush, but other than that, things are moving right along. I’ve still got everything on a 24/0 schedule, but tomorrow, I’m going to drop it back to 20/4. Here’s how they’re looking:
