Jraven's Alaska Sunroom Grow 2017

cob could battle the gray, I know, broken record here
So what do you think of the cob for starting seedlings can't remember if you had it at the start. I got a 24w T5 and the seedlings like it...it's not enough though hehe. I may be able to get away with 50 watts..

I think a COB would be perfect for seedlings!! Just keep it spaced relatively far away!! I mean hell, I've been using a couple of typical household 14w LEDs (100w replacement) for my veggies and they love them!! Looking awesome!!!!

Thanks brother!
I'm impressed enough by the little T5 that I can't see going back to starting them without light. If you recall I'm off grid so I'm always counting my watts lol. If I know the cob will kick it up a notch I can probably justify it. We get quite a bit from the solar and hydro this time of year...damn then I have to figure out how to keep it going all winter lmao

It's too bad those wind turbine generators aren't all that cheap.. The could be a big help, but having to pay for it suuuuuuucks!!! lol

Maybe you'll have a killer fishing season?! I guess one could hope, right??

Looking mighty fine in here my friend!

Sure hope those Z6/H-Ts finish for you. Hope you find the SD work as well for day time meds as they do me. I always have a jar or two full.

Anyway subbed up and look forward to all the great pictures that you share.

Peace

Good to have you along brother. I do hope I can grow the Zs out for sure, but it's true I do struggle finishing photos. The sunroom helps a lot but the light quality really declines anyway later on. It's all fun though.
I have them all transplanted as of today, five of them. The two in the smaller gallon pots can be tiered.

These plants have been good performers all along. The room has been slow generally because of the grey weather. Had a couple sunny days and saw a lot of progress.

My knees got that wobbly feeling like when you have a big fish on the line and you're not sure how you'll get it aboard after I did my transplanting today. Looking pretty full in the room.
