New Grower InkAddicts perpetual magical grow garden

Google to read on it. This is what I reference. In an earlier post, I mentioned dialing in ur “environment”. IMO, environment = VPD(not all inclusive). Essentially it is temp/rh ratio to find the sweet spot for the plants ability to uptake water/Nutes.

Buried in the link on my previous post it suggests:

Seendlings: 2-300 PPFD MAX

Veg: 5-600 MAX

Flower: 800-1,000 MAX

Now, these values are assume you are at the ideal spot on your VPD chart.

I believe that VPD is more important than turning up the light.

Add light, within the limits above, but if you can't stay in your VPD, stop increasing it. You don't want to burn your leaves(tips curl up and brown)

Once you have more leaves, you'll start to feel more confidant.
This is some I did under each light at same height and spots. Is this ok or should I go a little higher to 20 dli❓at 300 ppf

Have you compared ur app readings to manufacturers par map? It’s not going to be exact, but it will give u a data point to confirm app accuracy. Just a thought.

In pursuit of optimal conditions, I often have to remind myself that people have been growing without meters & apps for decades with great success. The plants will tell you what they want. I just need to understand their language.

GG#4 growing......
March 14th temp is 75°f and humidity is 67% lights 24 in 100% ppfd of mid300's and DLI of mid 20's, 6 plants total 3 seeds still waiting to sprout using ro with ppm around 49 and pH of 6-6.8 flux. I plan to start feeding the bigger 2 on the 19th that would be 3 weeks from sprout. I'm thinking only use 1/4 to 1/2 the recommended dose or should I do the 1/4 cup to 5 gallon of soil and put in top 4 in of soil, or should I soak in water❓ just want the best results. The one looks so weird they know they are fine and the money make them hansomer.since I put them on pot raisers The are 23 in from top of soil 21 in top of plant. Should I raise light or keep the way it is❓
