Thats a helpful hint... Maybe I should put them on 24/0 instead of going down from 18/6 to 16/8. I am so lost... It is my first grow so my experience is small... I think i will put them on the 18/6 back and don't touch it if it is unsure what would help them finish their cycle earlier...

I think at this point NOTHING will hep them finish quicker mate. So in my mind, what you want to do is maximise the amount of light to maximise the amount of bud development.

Personally, if they were mine, I would put them on 24/0 until the 26th June and also try and borrow another light!

Hey Thanks for the feedback! I have put them on 20/4 as I cannot have it 24 hours, mainly because it's hard to fall asleep when your ceiling is purple ^^. Unfortunately (or maybe the other way around -> fortunately) I cannot borrow any lights. This grow is an experiment if with a absolute rubbish and newbie set-up it is still possible to grow some cannabis in decent quality. My set-up cost me around €60 in total with lights, pots, water with exact ph, soil, and nutrients. Also DIY white cartoons which are reflecting the light (at the beginning I had alumnium foil but then i heard actually white paper/carton is much better). My pots are only 5L, and the light is 45W cheapest Amazon LED.

So summing up taking into consideration all those conditions i found it very amusing that my plants yield anything at all! Can't wait to weight them after they will dry off. Stay tuned!! Further updates will come up to the last one -> smoke report :3

Hello Everyone!!! Day 82 today and also flush day today! I have flushed my girls with 10l of water today. My harvest time is calculated for upcoming Sunday so 87th day of living my plants. Most of the pistils came amber in main colas, deeper down there are still some white. Generally I am happy with what amount I got. Will put it on scale of course after I harvest and get 20% of what is wet. For now my expectations are around 15g of dry herb from 1 plant. I hope one week of drying in room of 50% humidity and 25-26 celsius degrees will be enough . Here are some photos done after the flush

Hello everyone!!! Friday was 85th day of my plants and I have decided to harvest them. Could be a bit too early but cannot do anything about it now. Of course I couldn't wait to try it out so i dried it pretty rough in the oven. The smell and taste were terrible(probably because of the oven drying) but the power was really great. Smoke it with my lad and we didn't manage to finish a joint --> so high. Now the rest of the weed is drying on my DIY rack.
I will upload a photo and yield size after they will be dried.

hey bro congratulations on your first harvest! cant believe you just managed to grow weed for 60 euros. thats fantastic! was sounding a bit sketchy in the middle with your bug problems but you made it through to end and are now nearly at smoking time. hats off to you like thats bloody good effort mate.

Hi everyone! Sorry for such a long time without an update but has been really flooded with work to my uni... Finally, buds are really potential and strong. The weed has a proper nice amnesia haze smell and even better strength. I did buy amnesia haze in CoffeeShop to compare and I have to say my weed is really close with the taste and smell to the one professionally grown. The only difference I have noticed is the level of how much the bud is dense or 'tough'. Mines are still a bit leafy while the one from CS are harder.
At the end I was able to harvest 15 grams out of 2 plants. The amount is not big but it's my first grow and it was very low budget as you can read above.

The experience of seeing how a plant develops in person and getting a feel for them is worth more than 60 anyways.
