I really feel like giving up.

@NoviceProfessor a couple more questions. You HAVE successfully grown cannabis. But NOT in this tent?

Where'd the tent come from? How was the packaging? Could it have been a return? New? Used? From a buddy?

Am still leaning that you had one girl per run that popped some balls and everybody got a little touch....

Here is something interesting that bastards, like the folks at monsanto are working on. plants with no pistils!!!

At first I thought, you greedy assholes. It's a way to stop us from being able to reproduce their genetics (and you know they are going to find and patent a super unique terp or something. the next cookies or whatever) via pollination.

Then I started to think about it a lil more... It's a beautiful solution to ensuring you get sinsemilia from your outdoor every time! makes me kind of happy when i think about that.
I just recently read about those plants with no pistils. idk how we got started on Monsanto. And I don't think the no pistil plants are gmo or anything?

Correct, I had autos going constantly in the closet for about 3 years prior to the tent without this problem. New Cool Grows Tent via amazon. I don't think it was a return. Packaging is good. My main complain was the welds on the corner pieces and t-shaped pieces are so shitty that they fold and break easily. Had to have them replace one right when I got the tent and might need to get a couple more before I put the thing back up. But of course that's just s structural issue that wasn't a problem when I had it up and running.

Are you able to measure the EC/TDS/ppm and pH? Try looking for a water quality report as wellm

I do have meters for that. It's been a while since I checked. Tap water PH is about 7.3. I don't know the answers to the other measurements atm
I admit I have paid very little attention to EC/TDS/ppm. I do have the meters to measure though/

Oh. And fwiw, I am absolutely certain that the closet in considerably LESS light proof than the tent, and still never had any of my autos turn out like this. I probably should have mentioned that sooner.
(Although I am planning on completely re-doing and light proofing the closet before I start my next run)

I'm pretty sure some hermed and seeded the others.
I had indeed heard that about Ethos, but prior to this I hadn't had many problems and didn't see any stressors. Still don't see any stressors really if the shitload of pinholes aren't a problem.. And like I said, I've zipped myself in there to check and it was zero visibility to me.
Advanced and Blimburn aren't ones I have any experience with before this either.

Surprised to hear Barney's Farm is cringeworthy though? I've actually had some great Barney's Farm autos.

The best for me in my experience prior to this tent were HSO, Dinafem, Barney's Farm. DNA.

Who are some breeders you consider more stable?
There's a lot of variability in light bitchiness, that's the truth,... I'm sure somebody will flap their arms about the pinholes being the culprit, but in your case I'd heavily wager it's not the issue, and the auto's pretty much confirm that!
My outdoor photo's are exposed to light from the clients house, neighbors porch light, never ever do they experience total darkness and never once a hermie issue year after year. Makes you wonder, huh!
Lights, hours, sched', distance are all fine, so that's off the table now too.... more :doh::shrug:
I can say for sure the Red Family is somewhat notorious for being a bit leafy and not solid, I think it's coming from the Purple Kush ancestor... Even my Red Mandarine F1FV is the same! Look into Ice Cool, Green Poison, +Speed, SAD, Cream Mandarine auto's, a great record on those. GP is a winner in any format, but the F1FV photo' version is the champ IMO, astonishing bloom speed, at least outside... Every one finishes in under 6 weeks for me here in coastal central CA - :coffee: ... superb aromatics, dense gummy potent bud,..... IC auto is more "Sativa" in build, but very tasty; I have me first photo version going now outside :eyebrows:.. can't say she's fast, but very promising otherwise! ....Auto is excellent....
Barney's is rather hit&miss that I've seen. I've only run the Acapulco Gold, both were wonderful, but long bloomers (as expected), and the pheno's so different it was frankly silly; they need to work their stabilization better (a common complaint with them).... Avoid their Sweet Tooth, it's garbage from the several I've seen here....
Anything in seed grown is going to be subject to a certain level of gamble for what shows. Most of the breeders we have here are reliable within reason for quality, so just research your choices best you can to see what others have experienced...:jointman::goodluck:

I really liked Glue Gelato auto from BF. No problems on that one for me. I've done one of those Sweet Tooth autos too. Turned out great, but took so long I'm not sure they really sent me an auto seed lol.
I've done well with White Widow autos from both Dinafem and a Seedsman freebie seed. HSO Blue dream and UK Cheese autos were both good even though they were very different in taste/smell from their photo counterparts.
I was thinking of doing more Dinafem White Widow autos and maybe Bubba Kush autos too, on my next run. I've still got a week or two to decide though.

See if you can't find a local water report from your water company or maybe this. Might not be any problems but then you can at least rule out that as a problem. My tap changed drastically over three years so there could have been a change that you didn't know occurred and isn't your fault lol.

I worked with our town's water ORC when I was the town clerk for the town; I can tell you first hand that water quality changes DAILY, especially in smaller towns/municipalities where the treatment options may be limited or less intensive. Any time someone cracks a hydrant, it shocks the line and we get epic amounts of shit coming through until it clears.

I watched, didn't realize, my EC went from around 100 to 450 in four years. We've had a lot of city plumbing issues and water boil advisories. What your saying is enlightening.

Think it could be his water?

I will definitely be following up on these ideas to see how it goes. I can only speak to ph as it is the only one i've tested with any regular frequency, and it has remained about the same over the last couple of years. I'll have to be more thorough checking the others in the future, at least to rule water out as a problem, hopfellly.
