I really feel like giving up.

Hi mate. I'm new to this site and not so new to growing, always photos before. I was never to over careful about making sure the room was pitch black, suppose I justified it as the moon gives off more light than the hallway light coming under the closed door. (Sorry didn't explain my set up....I was and still am growing in a wardrobe...prob 2'x2'.... 2 to 4 photos with a blurple LED, air/smart pots 8Ltr.. cheap coco coir from blocks and cheap nutrients. The one thing I really get fussy about is the ph of my water, alot of lime were I live in Oxfordshire UK also can be very damp and cold even around late July, even freezing in September. Losing my thought process cos haven't smoked for about 2 weeks, I refuse to by the crap that comes from the street. 0.7 for £10 and its crap. Anyway I'm trying to keep you encouraged, please dont give up and I agree pollen can get everywhere. I suppose I'm trying to say I dont think you've done anything wrong. So please please keep going. Listen to the advise the other people/comments have said. I would love to chat more because I think you've got alot to offer. Please let me know if my reply has come through ok. Keep it up mate. Ps. Just read over what I wrote so hope it makes sense.
Thanks. The friendly members here have given me a lot of encouragement and advice. And I have indeed come to believe it was neither my fault, or necessarily the tent. Not the tent itself anyway, but perhaps something about switch of environments from where I had always grown before.
One of my real life growing friends who has grown for many more years than I have also strongly encouraged me. He said "You seem to have those autos down man. Your buds are way too beautiful to quit!"
And I have no intentions too. My first post was within an hour of discovering all of my plants had seeds (again) so the pain was deep and fresh lol.
This is a whole new day/week :D

I'm still learning my way round this site. Glad u got what I was trying to say. From what I've read some people get panties in a bunch( sorry eminem lyric just for Haters!!). Keep it up and keep writing a journal or something... at least to go back on and make sure same things dont happen unless good ofcourse.
I meant to say when I first started my reply. I,ve just started 2 northernlights autos from victory seeds. I am gonna try a keep my grow up to date on here. My first autos. Fingers crossed. Just like u said we can try and do everything right and things still go wrong or not to plan. Stay same dude.

Man you really couldn't ask for a better outcome. When the new tent comes just be sure to wash everything down before you get ready to start the grow. Also if you have a carbon filter cover I'd w

this is a truly great example of why we love AFN so much. A lot of people all coming together to help out. @NoviceProfessor i have sent you a PM, if we can help out with a few suggestions we have some super stable older genetic lines that you can have a shot at.

A lot of hemp growing going on. I know some people that have had problems outside. If you are anywhere near a rural area could be a problem. personally trust fastbuds gear as the most consistent and troublefree.

Thanks. I'm definitely going to run some fastbuds at some point.
There's not hemp farming near me at all - yet. I think it will become bigger in my area in the near future. If anything, I'm closer to other weed growers who have outdoors plants than I am to any hemp farm.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give some late props and thanks to our friends at Auto Seeds. After replying to this thread they messaged me about hooking me up with some seeds, which came about a week or so go. 5 Trans Siberian and 5 Candy Kush. Not to mention a couple of shirts as a surprise! I'm very stoked about these! My general basement remodeling is coming near an end and the last step is pimping out my big closet into my new grow space. These seeds will be the first that I run in there. I won't be doing a full grow diary but I will be posting another thread in the future with pics.

I started 2 Dinafem White Widow Autos that I already had, which I've enjoyed growing in the past. They will be staying in my small tent so I have something to play with until I get my closet ready to run all these beans from Auto Seeds! They should be growing by Halloween.
Thanks again to them! I'm stoked about running both of these strains,

P.S. I will be referencing this thread as I go, for advice and reminders, and I will be paying very close to my water this time.

Good luck. Bad grows hit a soft spot but good bud makes up for it
