New Grower I probably should have waited until fall...

Looks like an impressive harvest. Great job!

Thnaks Exivious! I am thrilled with how it turned out. Thnaks for following along m and the encouragement! :pass:

Just saw where you gave me some Rep, @Exivious Thanks man!

Took a couple flash pictures so you can see just how frosty the GG is already. And the aroma is already strong. Smells like a pine forest with a hint of fuel.

The CP’s smell is lot more subtle. Mostly green right now, but there is a small hint of fruit. I think.

How long did these take you? Im growing CP right now started mid August, it seems you started in July sometime and just harvesting now.

Thanks Med! I am two weeks away from dropping two AQN seeds! Hopefully, I find that strawberry milkshake pheno you talked about! Can't wait to apply all I have learned without the heat challenges.

Remember, I got the Strawberry Milkshake pheno, IMO, because she got more shade and more bloom lights and never saw the blue lights in veg. Use your blurple on bloom with the red lights during veg instead of the blue.

If you don't want to do that, the other three phenos are just as good, except the Strawberry Spice, which is super for hash though. One of my friends says he likes that bud better than the others. Says the earthy aftertaste is awesome with a nice cup of coffee. So, I tried that this morning, and he was right. Very nice with coffee!

Finding certain strains, and their uses in certain situations is part of the fun. I have some strains that are awesome when I eat certain foods, and others that are not good. You start filling your Med cabinet now!

Have fun. Looking forward to seeing your next grow. ANQ will not let you down.:watering:

Hey Beta, Nope, they both sporouted on June 5th. It has been 130 days, and a full 10 weeks of flowering. But I had significant heat issues that I think delayed the flowering phase.

Wow, I was thinking just the opposite: running the 3000k Cob only when flowering, and let the blurple go throughout, since the COB has the perfect setting for slowering. I don't think the one COB (75watts from the wall) wouldn't be enough light for two plants through veg. Did I misunderstand?

Yeah, only hope the purple in my Med cabinet makes until the ANQ are ready!

That is correct. Run the blurple for veg, and then both for flower. If you want the Strawbeert Milkshake, you just need to run the flower version of your blurple only during veg. If your light does not have this switch, it will be ok, as the light you have has a higher ratio of red to blue anyway. We need the IR and far reds from the blurple to help trigger the genetics in the ANQ. I have tried this many ways, this was the only way I got it, and then the last grow, I got it two times using this method. Not full proof, but better than what I have heard.

Plus, I know that using these two methods of blue dominance or red dominance during veg definitely gives you different plants and triggers genetics differently. Contrary to popular belief, you can veg with red lights only if you want. Bigger, bushier is blue, tall and stretchy is red. Have fun with it.

Pretty good stuff, Med! My LED panel is only full spectrum, so I can't manipulate the blues and reds, but I a man planning to do as you noted... start with the led panel, and then add the 3000k cobs. Excited to see what pheno evolves!

What is considered far red?

I think it's before Infra-red on the spectrum between 710 and 850nm.
