New Grower HYDROPONICS- Reverse Flood Table- Abducted by Aliens in the Bermuda Triangle

Good luck, CD! I am definitely checking this out!
Thanks man! We got such huge growth out of just flooding the clay pebbles before. Those things were 5-6 foot tall and had mutant 13 leg fan leafs bigger than dinner plates. We are hoping to get that same growth, just more contolled this time with better results.

Here's to that, man!

What did not meet your expectations on the last grow 5' to 6' plants sounds successful?

I don't know how I missed this . Apologies. But we ran out of room before they ever started to flower. Even at the end at 72 days I think it was. They had just started to make some hairs. It was enough that we wast tired of fighting them and decided to start over.

Update time. We are officially at day 4 on these three. We decided to name the AVT's to distinguish them since we are partaking in the Mephisto Battle. The Temp and RH are holding nice. Right where we want them. Lowered the light to an official 30" from canopy. I also had the honor of having to do my first tank top. 2 whole gals and brushed it off with a 1/2 teaspoon or 2 grams of MC2.0. Seedlings looking nice and green. Looks like they are ready to sprout their 2nd set of leafs any day. The 2nd Royal Jack did not pop. So we planted a third one and she officially broke ground today. Will prolly transplant it tomorrow. Putting her only slightly behind her 3 sisters. I hope you all enjoy. And if you have any questions feel free to ask. :vibe:

OMG! Patients is a virtue. With serious "Super Cropping" any plant can be tamed. Hardest thing for a new grower to do emotionally and physically is to super crop a plant to keep it out of the lights. The problem is many new growers as well as all of us end up in that situation indoors sooner or later. Have some grafting PARAFFIN TAPE on hand just in case. 6" lower than you think you should, roll the stem crushing the inside 3 x the diameter of the stem in length between your forefinger and your thumb, then bend the branch over at that pinch. Bend to 90° from the stem or horizontal to the light. If you did not get a good enough interior crush the stem can break usually just on the top. If this happens just wrap with the grafting tape and all will be well. You may need to tie down the bent over top as many branches just lift themselves right back up. A great lesson to teach yourself on your first harvest or any harvest for that matter is to practice super cropping on branches you have harvested. You will get a good feel for what it is to crush and bend without the dread of "Killing a Cola".

Changing your light schedule can also force a plant into flowering.

This is one plant and almost 3 years later I am still making chocolates from the rosin I press from it! Dinafem Moby Dick CBD:

I had to super crop this plant every week for 6 weeks to keep it out of the lights. It was worth every bit of the work.

Really nice.Yea one the reason we decided on autos though, was to find something that would grow in that 70-90 range. Even that is a long time and neither of us have patience lol. Besides that we did supercrop them a few times as well as defoliate and changed the light schedule to 12/12 for 2 weeks. We really felt like if we had left them they would of took another 70 days and gave us very little finished product. On top of fighting them and they was drinking so much water. At this point we are tired of spending $90 for a quarter of weed every paycheck. So the sooner we can get results the better.
