Mephisto Genetics Hubbabubba K.I.S.S. grow journal

Day 11 what a difference 4 days makes. She has fully recovered and new growth has almost covered up the damaged leaves.

The only change was flushing the soil with 1000 PPM of tomato food & silicon to raise the pH of the peat moss.

Glad you didn't give up on it. They're pretty tough girls.

You have grown several Hubbabubbasmelloscope, do you have suggestions for Low Stress Training? I want to keep her small and manageable, I don't need a 1 meter plant! I don't grow for yield.

I am thinking about training the main stem in a circle around the inside of the Container. I have heard that keeping plants a little thirsty can force them to stay smaller without affecting quality.

I've never done ant lst. You might ask Rhyce, he's doing all kinds of that with his twotwo hbss plant and others.

wow. I finally found this. start looking and get side lined everytime lol. great save on the PH lock out. I've been using the Dr. Earths Nitro Big and Golden Bloom nute for their ease. 1 for veg and 1 for bloom. easy to use but a little pricey compared to general garden nutes.any how, I'm sub'd up now

Day 15 Green and growing, the damaged leaves that seemed so important 8 days ago are now completely out grown.
She has no pistils, and no hint of odor yet. I want bubblegum flavor!

HubbaBubba -- Nice recovery on the ph issue, looks like you're off and running now. Those HS1 lights are badass by all accounts. I'm subbin' up for the show here.

I didn't know silicon was so alkaline; makes me want to grab a bottle.

Keep up the good work and have fun with your grow. :pass:

Thanks,
Silicon is cheap and handy stuff. You can raise your water's pH a lot without raising the EC much, that is handy.
And it useful as a water wetting agent for very dry soil, or for foliar spray. And I mix it with Neem to help emulsify the Neem oil for spraying bugs.

$16.50 for a quart that will last me a year
