8 weeks down, just a week or 2 away now. Seeing some purple fans show up due to the cold night temps. Humidity has been up in 60s lately, so time for the dehumidifier again, which should also add a bit of heat to the room.

Week 9 done. Plucked a couple buds and test smoked them and the high is where we like it. Looking to harvest sometime this week.

Harvest time! They were harvested over the weekend, 70 days in flower. Filled the drying rack with top bud, and still a few boxes of larf and trim.

I assume you know the demise of Dinafem and HSO (might be "saveable" yet?)... I think seeds are still produced in Nor-Cal...

Your Dawgs look damn nice, tons of resins and rocky buds! How the aroma, and are the pheno's close?
Get us dry porn as always, these buds are going to dry into sugar cubes I bet-

Thanks for the rep and encouraging words. And I've read about the dinafem/hso issues going on now, hopefully it's not the end for them as Chemdawg has been my favorite photo so far. I snagged up some HSO Amherst Sour Diesel and Blue Dream seeds also for future grows.

As for the aroma, when she was growing she reeked of sweet lemon. Smelled like lemon candy almost, after drying a bit the lemon is still there but it smells a bit earthy as well. The first I grew had more of a pine and lemon smell to it.

The high between the two feels the same. Clean and euphoric and slightly relaxing. I did get the giggles after smoking a little too much. No couch lock or appetite from it, a good daytime smoke.

Jarred up for a day and reading 58%-60% RH, a little over dry but it might rise a little over the next few days. Weights in a 30oz and some change, a bit shy of 2 pounds. I'd like to push these tables to 1.5 pounds each, but it was a good bit over my first grow with this method. I'm making progress towards that goal.

So I gave mediumless flood and drain a whirl for my next grow. So far it's going pretty good. It's just 25 x 3" net pots on 1 inch xps foam board. This is a week and a half or so after flip.

It took some hand watering before the roots reached the flood level, and a few didn't make it. I've also got fungus gnats coming from the other side, which is just rockwool cubes.

So for next grow I have an aeroponic cloner so hopefully we'll have some nice long roots at the beginning of the grow. I found the whole pvc thing made up on the fleabay. Just had to screw it into a pump and drill out some holes in a tote lid.

Thank's for the rep and kind words. I've been constantly high on Chemdawg for a couple weeks now. :smoking: For the cloner I had to go homemade since I'm using 3" net pots and it seems all the prebuilt ones are for 2" net pots. It was also a lot cheaper than a new one.

iv never smoked chemdawg but iv just signed up to the super sativa seed club grow&show to grow their chem og looking forward to it
homemade are just as good iv had a hand in making probably 6 of them now
