2 weeks in flower today. Res changed and swapped to Megacrop bloom schedule, 2 parts A to 1 part B, at about 500ppm.

Week 4 down. Upped feeding to 650ppm MegaCrop 2 part. pH has been crazy high and I've been dumping ph down in the res each day to keep it under 6.5. Getting a res change today so maybe that will help.

5 weeks down, 5 to go. Still feeding 650ppm Megacrop, PPM has gone up slightly this week so we won't increase it anymore. Still dumping pH down in the res keeping it under 6.5. Some light bleaching under one of the cobs, the top of the cola is about 6 inches away; lights are at the maximum height. New camera lens arrived this week so now I can take wide angle shots without my phone :D

Thanks. I've always liked a more SOG style grow and flood and drain fits the bill for that one. It's also crazy low maintenance. Just pH it each day, fill it each week, and change it each 2 weeks. The only thing I don't like is the hydroton. It's a pain to clean and my last grow it kept raising the pH(wasn't cleaned enough the first time). I'll probably scrap it after this grow and just do a few more plants in 4" rockwool cubes.

After my last grow the roots were so thick it was like pulling up carpeting, then removing and cleaning all the pebbles. Not fun at all, and added more downtime between cycles.

I've been looking at mediumless flood and drain and want to give it a try. It's basically just putting a lid on the tray and drilling out 2-3" net pot holes for however many plants you want.

6 weeks down. Buds are developing nicely; we'll have some fat colas in a few weeks. Still adjusting pH and maintaining around 650ppm of megacrop 2 part.
