Dang!
There are so many factors to consider. The most critical of course, as folks are saying, dry and cure. I'll dig up my dox on this but I trim wet, put the trimmed buds in a hanging dryer rack for a few days in a cool dark spot. I check them around 4-5 days in the dry weather. The goal is to get them in the jars at around 70% according to my humidistat in the jar. Then it's burp, burp, burp until it gets to 62%. That takes 4-6 weeks. I start burping twice a day for 15 minutes at a time, I do this for about two weeks. The once a day for two three weeks more, again 15 minutes. Then every few days until 62%. I used to use the Boveda pack for this part but no longer as I thought them responsible for stealing some flavor and aroma, completely unproven, but what I did. I do use a small Boveda 62% and a few oxygen eaters in my "archive" jars. An archive is a jar with two oz. (56 gm) I put away for a year or so. I have a dozen or so of these. That is how I cure to retain taste an odor and it does that well.
You also need to grow to enhance the natural flavor and aroma. I have found NFTG, other than TLO organics, to be the only nutrient program that can do that for me. Since using this I have been able to make rock hard super stinky and tasty flowers. More later and some pictures.
Here's my latest take down. An NCH x Sour Hound from Mephisto, 24/0 under a 315 watty CMH in NFTG [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] soil. She was kinda neglected but came out well anyways...
Peace,
