New Grower How long till i harvest and give her the snip ?? !

i especially like your lighting; do you think you have enough lights? JK, how many are there?

I think I can squeeze a few more in !lol There is three 45 watt 150w equiv. up top in 2700 k spectrm and around the plant I have 7 26 watt 100 watt equiv. two of them are 6500k and the rest are 2700k .

Instead of all those cfl you should look at buying one big cfl if CFLs are what you like, eBay has 150w cfl and reflector for $40ish(same as 12 14w cfl, 6 23w cfl) they also got a 250watt

Hi dedereweko ! I actually prefer all those lights because it allows me to give my plant light in all places rather than just up above. Especially in flowering because then I like to move the lights in real close so they are more efficient. Also because CFL is not high intensity lighting like metal halide or Hps it does not penetrate as well so its good to have side lighting. oh and im pretty sure that the 26 w cfl and 45 w cfl have a better lumen ratio as opposed to the bigger wattage ones hence making them more efficient . thanks for your suggestions though I appreciate it !

Nice looking setup! I wouldn't go by dates or how yellow the leaves are. Get a jewellers loupe off eBay for cheap and check the trichs, it's the most simple and accurate way of knowing when to chop that bitch down. Good luck!

hi Bob ! Im new at the growing game but from what ive been reading on AFN and also from the great Muddys post on when to harvest your autos he explains that its not always possible to go by the trichs on autoflowering cannabis and that your leaves will tell you when to harvest because your trichs may not ever get mostly amber .......Should I really get a jewellers loupe and go by trichs ?

Shucks....That's a nice comment Chester. Ditto to you on LEDs.

Totally agree with you and chester !both of you have some excellent grows hope to learn a lot here on AFN from more experienced growers like the likes of yous ! cheers and Ty to everyone's opinions and advice !

Better yet you can get a digital scope for under $20 that takes photos like this when attached to a computer ... there is a link in my grow to this scope on Ebay ....

WTF....Chester you amaze me. Remember the time when we were just little newbies? Now we have all the bells and whistles to make good grows. Top of the chart photos of trichomes there. Gotta spread the love around before you get a MAX SLAP.

Yup you are deff right, the smaller ones are a lot more efficient, personally I use just CFL's in my veg(love CFLs), and led in flowering. During my veg I have a 125w 6500k cfl on top, and two 60w 6500k cfl and 2 43w 6500k cfl as side lighting. You doing great though.
